Garage Sale Jackpot

Saturday Grandma, Mommy and Quinn hit up city wide garage sales in Mason City. They were pretty good this year considering we stayed in one area for about 2 hours and had the car full of stuff. Grandma even got a "new" deep freezer which I think she was pretty excited about since we took ours back that they were "storing" for us in their basement. That is one thing I think every household should have! I don't know where I used to put all my stuff since ours is packed to the lid half with meat and ice cream and the other half with breast milk. If there is ever a catastrophic event we will be able to grill, fill our sweet tooth, and Quinnie will be able to have a bottle for the next 3 years. (Don't worry I'm not breastfeeding for 3 years, yikes!) I don't know how I got a job as an accountant because obviously I'm not very good at math. Let's just say we could feed a small army of babies with how much milk I have frozen....
Back to garage sales, I got several outfits for Ava and Quinn for this winter and next summer. Ava really needed some new stuff, but when I got home I went through the baby clothes tubs like I should have done BEFORE I went and found tons of clothes for Quinn. Doug thinks she could wear a different outfit every day until her 2nd birthday. Sadly, I would probably have to agree. I just can't help myself and I think I secretly knew I had these clothes but the shopaholic in me was trying to sabotage the tight ass in me.
Ava got to go fishing with Daddy and cousin Darrell, no not our other cousin Darrell. I'm really glad Doug got good use of the fishing license I bought him for Father Day since he used it a whoping..... 1 time. But Ava had fun and was a really good girl this weekend. She even helped Daddy clean the whole house before we got home shopping. (Bonus points for Daddy)

Quinn - 4 Months

Hey Momma do you think I can get my eyes any bigger!

Laura let us borrow Dylan's Jumparoo and Quinn has been loving it! She loves to kick, rock, jump when anybody's holding her and this definitely is right up her alley! But of course she usually ends her exercises with chewing on the strap...

Quinn and cousin Myranda. I think she loves her little cousin!

Of course Ava had to get in the picture too, but can never take a "normal" pick. She has been learning about colors this week at school and has gotten to start her first fundraiser. But she has already failed miserably by leaving her packet outside of Brad and Dawns steps in the rain. Sorry NSRF PTO.
