Pre-Gaming Christmas Style

This time of year always comes up on me way too quick.  The weeks in November are always nice and slow, relaxing, checking off to-do lists, pajama days, and nothing scheduled weekends. Then Thanksgiving hits and bam! Christmas time. Gifts to buy, presents to wrap, long and boring Christmas programs to attend, and cookies to bake (that never really get baked anyway). I've been trying this year to not get so wrapped up in all the Christmas hub bub and more into the moments with my babies.

Thanksgiving Day 2011. Ava actually let me braid her adorable hair.
We had a great Thanksgiving Day at Uncle Tim & Aunt Jeanne's house with the Staudt family.

Ava & Myranda decorating the "upstairs tree" the day after Thanksgiving.
They are at the perfect Santa age. They understand everything about Santa and believe 100% in his full magic. I even caught them pretending to be Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Oh and Christmas tree up the day after Thanksgiving = Christmas Win!

We got to see cutie pie Miss Devan over Thanksgiving as her and her Mama and Daddy came to Iowa to spend her first Thanksgiving. She is getting to be a big girl!
Quinnie and Great Grandma Staudt catching up on some reading.
Ava enjoying some cousin snuggle time, while Devan enjoys some Tigger gnawing time.
All my color coordinated kids before our Christmas photo shoot.
Another Christmas win!
 Ava girl
Quinnie with some food in hand, surprised?
The best of about 7 pictures of Daddy. This is as good as it gets people...
Relaxing before bed and catching some Christmas movies
 Mama and the Kindergartner
Working on their own Christmas decorations
 A crazy haired morning girl
Working hard on our "downstairs/every ornament" tree
Quinnie with the very tall tree Daddy picked out. He has a horrible gage of Christmas tree size as this one more resembles a shrug.

Merry Christmas Everyone!
