Christmas Eve 2011

No you are not dreaming. You are actually reading a NEW blog post from this long neglected blog. But what you will be reading is probably pretty boring material, but I have vowed to "catch up" on this baby book of mine so lets jump in a time machine and go back 8 months (Jesus that's a long fricken time ago) to Christmas Eve. (I told you this was going to be boring)

Charlotte Rae (14 months) and Aunt Sara getting in some snuggles on Christmas Eve at Grandma and Grandpa's house.
Everyone enjoying a delicious dinner of chili, potato soup, mushrooms, and lots and lots of desserts
Ava girl made these adorable Strawberry Santa hats. Huge hit! She really did make these all by herself too :)
After dinner it was present time.
A doodle bear for Ava!
Roller blades for the C man.
Quinnie was really into the presents this year, a little TOO into the presents this year. By that I mean she was ripping into every one's gifts and had all her presents open in about 2.3 seconds.
Ava, Char, and Sara's cleavage checking out whatever the hell it is Sara got...
A new personalized Disney blanket for the Quinner.
A sweet J. Biebs poster for Ava's room. I know what your thinking, "That poster looks pretty plain even though it does have a legit signature on it" Ava took care of that by writing "I love Justin" and her name circled in hearts all over it.
Yes it does look like Christmas puked all over in there.
Two sissies checking out a new play tent.
Daddy opening a new 49ers shirt from the in laws that he wears all. the. time.
After playing with all their new gifts and getting on their new Christmas jammies from Grandma and Grandpa we headed home to get ready for Santa to come down the chimney. Ava wanted to leave an orange for the reindeer but we found out from our note from Santa that reindeer don't like oranges so he took it home for the elves. Those elves will take anything.
Ava also thought it would be a good idea to leave the reindeer a bucket of water.
One very excited 5 year old!

Stay tuned for more Christmas memories! (yes in August, get over it)
