Calorie Overload!

Yesterday we spent the entire day at the State Fair. We went down Saturday night and stayed with the Piepers. Of course Caden loves hanging out with Will and Lucas, and Ava can't get enough of her buddy Cole Robert. (Even though I think he gets enough of her!) Thanks Sandy and John for letting us stay and for the free pizza! The kids had a great time at the fair. This is the first BIG day trip that we have taken without bringing a stroller along and Ava did great! She only asked to be picked up when she couldn't see something. Neither one of them fought or complained all day! It was a miracle! Caden, Ava and I went through Snakes Alive and had our picture taken with a huge snake. Ava chickened out of the picture though, maybe next year! Hey better than her dad who wouldn't even go in! We of course stuffed our faces with cotton candy, caramel apples, corn dogs, tenderloins, chocolate chip cookies, turkey legs, fries, ice cream, the list goes on and on. But hey that's the best part of the fair, right?

She is so brave! Ava and her buddy Clifford. This is the first time she has ever wanted to go see a large costumed person. Big first for her!

The kids loved checking out all the animals especially the big pig, cow, and ram!
