What a beautiful baby in her baptism dress! I think if we would have waited any longer the dress wouldn't fit her anymore! Her godmother Sara gave Quinn her birthstone bracelet with her name on it. Ava actually wore her's almost every day her first year.

The new godparents! They did a pretty good job!
Quinn - 2 monthsAfter church everyone came back to our house for lunch. We grilled hamburgers and brats and had salads, fruit, and of course cake and mints.

Quinn and her second cousin Hayden. Great Grandma Schrage made Quinn a beautiful blanket with her name on it for her baptism.
Yesterday was my 25th birthday. Doug got me a nice patio set but gave it to me early so we could use it for the party. Last night Grandma, Uncle Tony and Aunt Heather, Brad and Dawn, the Howe's and the Paulus's (even Remmy) came over and we grilled more of the leftover food we had from the baptism plus Dustin and Laura brought some delicious sweet corn. We all sat outside on the patio until the bats came out (yes, Nora Springs has some vicious bats, so Doug tells me). It was fun just relaxing with everybody and finally getting to have a glass of wine while the kids all played. It won't be long until we have a couple more kids running around with Tarah's baby coming in two months and Heather's baby in October. Busy Busy!
