Fall 2011 Bucket List

I really don't know why I keep calling these bucket lists when that sounds pretty morbid. If you remember back, I posted here about our summer bucket list. And overall we did pretty good. So we might have missed a couple but we did do some awesome stuff instead, like make some dough on a lemonade stand and spend an afternoon fishing. In other words these "bucket lists" aren't necessarily lists that need to be completely checked off but more lists to remember to enjoy my babies while they still like hanging out with me and fun lists are always better to check off than chore lists anyway. So here goes our fall edition:

1. Carve jack o'lantern's. 10/28/11 Nothing like cutting it really close.

2. Take each kid on a date. 10/8/11 Pinkalicios Musical with Ava, she followed along exactly with her book. Uh-mazing

3. Go to a pumpkin patch. 10/8/11 Osage Pumpkin Patch with the Paulus girls

4. Catch a high school football game 9/23/11 Rockford Homecoming Game

5. Have a football watching party

6. Make a huge leaf pile and jump in! 10/9/11 The kids were covered and the backyard got cleaned!

7. Make homemade semi-homemade apple cider.

8. Check out a museum.

9. Have lunch at school with Ava.

10. Make a fall craft.

11. Try highlights in my hair. End of September - they are subtle, oh so subtle.

12. Have a boys only sleepover birthday party for Caden.
